Scholarships
Peninsula is so proud to offer two scholarships of $500 and honorable mentions of $250 to high school juniors and seniors. These awards are to help club members continue their figure skating life and skating community contributions. Contributions come in many forms including but not limited to collegiate and standard track skating, becoming an official, serving as club board or junior board members, coaching, creating and supporting new teams (synchro, high school, etc). The application process starts in March of each year with winner announcements in May-June.

High School Team
The Peninsula Skating Club High School Team has been booming since its inception! The mission of this program is to bring high school skaters together to experience the fun and camaraderie that groups offer. There are three skill levels of teams that compete in both virtual and live events. Competing together as a team is great fun!

Junior Board (JB)
The JB is open to all members ages 10-18 and consists of a small community of ice skaters who work together to help their Club and community. We help young skaters expand their perspectives through volunteer activities that introduce them to valuable life lessons and skills. It’s a great way to meet other skaters!

Club Ice Freestyle Sessions
Club sessions are offered to provide ice time for club members only at a reduced rate. To skate these sessions, the skater must have passed the pre-preliminary freestyle test.
Club ice or “contract ice” is now being offered every Thursday from 5:15pm – 6:15pm in San Jose in the TechCU arena. This session runs from the beginning of Sept to the end of May. All purchases are made through Entryeeze – you’ll need to either create an account or use your email login and password that you use when signing up for testing or competitions. After logging in, click on “Contract Ice” at the top right corner. Choose “Browse and Purchase”.
Under the Sessions Available header, click on “Expand”. A list of all sessions will be displayed, ready for purchase.
